Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt grants fund for Nomad´s research project „Use of non-antibiotic antimicrobial proteins (colicins) for control of multi resistant Escherichia coli (MREC)“

Die Nomad Bioscience GmbH wird im Zeitraum vom 01. Januar 2017 bis 31. Dezember 2018 durch die Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt mit Mitteln des Europ ischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung bei der Umsetzung des Forschungsprojektes „Verwendung nicht-antibiotischer antimikrobieller Proteine (Colicine) für die Kontrolle mehrfach wirkstoffresistenter Escherichia coli (MREC)“ unterstützt.

Ziel des Vorhabens ist es, verschiedene Colicine gegen multiresistente E.coli Bakterien in einem propriet ren Expressionssystem zu produzieren und deren Verwendung zur Konservierung frischer und roher Nahrungsmittel vorzubereiten.

Die Nomad Bioscience GmbH strebt damit eine Erweiterung ihres Produktportfolios im Bereich Nahrungsmittelsicherheit an.
